About Me
A Snapshot Into Who I Am
I was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. I earned my Bachelor of Arts with Distinction, majoring in Psychology from the University of Lethbridge. I attended Arizona State University for my Master’s in Counselling Psychology. During this time I completed my internship at Rosewood Center for Eating Disorders in Tempe, Arizona, where I was able to facilitate and co-facilitate groups with both an adult and adolescent population. During my residency at Calgary Counseling Centre, I focused on helping those with symptoms of eating disorders and symptoms OCD. I was also able to provide group therapy focusing on eating disorders and self-esteem.
Back To My Roots
After becoming a registered psychologist, I provided counselling in specialized settings in Calgary including Mount Royal University’s Health Clinic, the Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation, and various doctor’s offices. After my time at these specialized settings, I returned to Lethbridge to be able to bring my unique skill set and experience to the community where I grew up.
Sourced from Around the Globe
I love to travel to new and different places throughout the world. In my spare time, I love reading, swimming and watching movies. In the summertime, I enjoy being outdoors, golfing and hiking. I like spending quality time with my friends and family, and of course, being surrounded by my dog and cats.
